Frost and Fire in Hveragerði is a convenient distance from the hustle and bustle of city life and open all year. Frost and Fire at Hof in Öræfi district is open from May 20 to September 5. Hof is located in one of the most beautiful and distinctive parts of Iceland – the “land between the sands” in the southeast. The huge glacier Öræfajökull towers above it, the black sands of Skeiðarársandur spread out in front; Skaftafell National Park is close by and the magical world of Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon is a short distance to the east.
